*What the hell is bioavailability? Bioavailability describes what percentage of a nutrient or active ingredient actually reaches the body and can have an effect there.

We are inspired by nature - 100% natural and free from chemicals

Humans are, in a sense, a reflection of nature – because our bodies, too, are ecosystems comprised of a symbiosis of trillions of tiny microorganisms. We want to combine nature's best systems and most valuable complexes into a single capsule and transfer them to your body's ecosystem. Our ingredients are 100% natural, free of chemicals and unnecessary fillers.

RADIANT GLOW - BEAUTY IN A CAPSULE

Nurture and hydrate your skin, hair and nails from within!

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Dose: 1 capsule per day along with your Dailybacs + optionally further add-ons
  • When? Daily intake can be flexible and taken at any time of day, ideally in the morning for maximum absorption.
  • How? Swallow the capsule with sufficient liquid.

As we all know, beauty comes from within. This also applies to the deeper structures of our skin, hair, and nails. Our skin is like a cocoon, protecting our entire inner self. Only our skin comes into direct contact with the outside world and is therefore exposed to daily environmental influences. Pollution, fine dust particles, UV radiation, stress, an unbalanced diet, and the wrong skincare products can damage our skin cells and cause side effects such as dryness, redness, eczema, acne, or even premature skin aging. To prevent these consequences as much as possible and, if necessary, to even out imperfections, we have developed a formula for your "Radiant Glow" based on scientific research. A perfect combination of antioxidants, superfoods, and vitamins to make your beauty shine – from the inside out. Specially selected nutrients, with their moisturizing and antioxidant properties, ensure healthy elasticity, strength, and radiance. A balanced gut microbiome and high bioavailability of the component support the absorption of the essential nutrients it contains.

RADIANT GLOW - What does that actually mean?

  • Direct translation: “to light up”.
  • mybac's translation: “a positive transformation or metamorphosis on a physical but also emotional level.”

THE RADIANT GLOW SUPERSTARS:

1. Hyaluronic acid - moisturizing, firming, anti-aging

Hyaluronic acid is a complex sugar (polysaccharide) that occurs naturally almost everywhere in the human body. Therefore, side effects or allergic reactions are extremely rare. Hyaluronic acid is able to bind large volumes of water, forming a gel-like material that is also very important for our joints – it acts as a lubricant and makes our joints resilient.
Fun fact: 1 gram of hyaluronic acid can bind up to 6 liters of water!
It contributes to the skin's natural regenerative capacity and is responsible for the natural elasticity and firmness of the connective tissue – resulting in a radiant and smooth complexion. Essentially, hyaluronic acid, with its water-binding properties, is a pure moisturizer. That might not sound particularly exciting at first, but as many probably know, dry skin is a major factor in wrinkles and premature skin aging.
To maximize its effectiveness, our formula combines it with abundant antioxidants, which protect the skin from free radicals and stimulate collagen production – the foundation for plump, healthy skin. This allows the components to work in perfect synergy, providing the skin with essential nutrients to prevent and potentially reduce wrinkles.
CARE FROM WITHIN: WE START AT THE ORIGINS
Beware of confusion: Hyaluronic acid is used in cosmetic procedures as a "filler" in the form of injections. This ingredient is also found in various serums and creams to prevent wrinkles and plump facial structures. However, we much prefer it in capsule form, as problems are best addressed at their root cause in the long term. Therefore, nourishment from within plays an incredibly important role in beauty. The body can absorb the ingredients directly at their source, the intestines, and utilize them in a targeted manner. In this way, valuable nutrients are not simply washed away, and an injection is absolutely unnecessary.

2. Biotin - invigorating, regenerating

Biotin is one of the water-soluble B vitamins. It is a component of enzymes whose specific function is the metabolism of proteins, which serve as building blocks for your body's structures. Biotin promotes hair growth by supporting keratin proteins and thus the maintenance of healthy hair. Keratin is not only an important component for hair and nails, but also for the skin. It contributes to the development of blood cells, sebaceous glands, and nerve tissue.

3. Blueberry extract - antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, smoothing, collagen-boosting

Bilberry extract (Vaccinium myrtillus) is a valuable source of bioactive plant compounds such as provitamin A, vitamin B2, and zinc. The high anthocyanin content can be particularly beneficial when combined with gut bacteria. Anthocyanins have a high antioxidant potential, especially for skin cells. Furthermore, bilberry extract can boost the body's own collagen synthesis, giving the skin a plump appearance. What exactly is collagen? Collagen is a structural protein and makes up 30% of the proteins in our bodies. Collagen peptides have been proven to maintain your beauty from within, as a strong collagen structure prevents wrinkles. It is also attributed with anti-inflammatory and soothing effects on acne, eczema, and other skin conditions.

4. Copper - for an extra beauty boost

Although it may sound surprising at first: copper occurs naturally in our bodies as a mineral. It is an essential trace element that supports energy production, iron utilization, antioxidant defense, and the synthesis of neurotransmitters and connective tissue.

BEAUTY TOP TIPS

We also have a few tips for you on how you can support your beauty from the outside as well. At least we should start with the "don'ts," namely which ingredients you should absolutely avoid in beauty products!

Things to avoid in beauty products:

  • Parabens These hormone-disrupting preservatives are found in many products. They are suspected of promoting the development of cancer. Their antimicrobial properties also damage the skin microbiome.
  • INCI name: Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Isopropylparaben
  • Phthalates (Plasticizers) – A growing body of research indicates that the phthalate chemical family damages the male reproductive system. Pregnant women should avoid nail polish containing dibutyl phthalate. In general, products with "fragrances" should be avoided, as these may contain phthalates.
  • INCI name: Diethyl Phthalate, Diethylhexyl Phthalate, Di-n-Butyl Phthalate (DBP)
  • silicones Silicones make products easier to apply, thus creating the illusion of a positive care effect. However, they are chemical compounds that form a film on the skin and hair, preventing them from absorbing essential nutrients. This leads to dehydration from within.
  • INCI name: Dimethicone, trimethicone, methicone, amodimethicone, polysiloxanes (endings with "-methicone" and "-siloxane". There are countless variations)
  • Emulsifiers These ingredients are used to create a bond between water and oil. Unfortunately, this also triggers skin reactions. They damage the skin barrier, making the important protection against pollutants and toxins more permeable. Furthermore, they can lead to dryness.
  • INCI name: Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Methylparaben, Ethylparaben, Isobutylparaben, Isopropylparaben
  • Fragrances The term "fragrance" is short for a complex mixture of scented ingredients and components that ensure a scent lingers on the skin. Some ingredients are irritating or allergenic, while others can disrupt the body's hormonal system. Although some progressive companies are beginning to disclose the ingredients in their fragrances, consumers still often don't know exactly what the generic term "fragrance" encompasses.

Now let's get to the "do's", the things that will definitely benefit your beauty!

How about a relaxing facial massage? You can find instructions here. While it hasn't been scientifically proven that facial massages reduce wrinkles, it is known that gentle massage stimulates our metabolism and thus improves blood circulation. This can be achieved, for example, with the popular rose quartz facial rollers, such as those from [brand name missing]. Rosental Organics, Observe. Daily use leaves the skin looking wonderfully refreshed. This beauty tool is originally and traditionally used in Chinese medicine.

    1. Start with clean skin. Finish your facial cleansing routine before you begin the massage. For example, cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser or oil and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Afterwards, pat it dry with a towel.
    2. Apply a thin layer of facial oil. A little oil helps your fingers glide smoothly over your face instead of "dragging" on your skin. It also leaves your face looking bright and radiant when you're finished. You can use a blend of oils specifically formulated for the face or choose a single oil that best suits your skin type. Almond, argan, and jojoba oils are all excellent choices for facial massage and won't clog your pores. For very dry skin, argan or almond oil is more suitable. For medium to oily skin, jojoba oil or a blend of jojoba and castor oil is recommended. For an extra pampering touch, hold the oil bottle under warm water beforehand.
    3. Start by massaging your lymphatic area. It is believed that toxins from the face drain to the lymph nodes located under the ears on the sides of the neck. Massaging this area helps release the toxins and prevent them from accumulating in the face. Massage the lymphatic area with your fingertips for one minute using circular motions. Stroke in wide circles from under the ears down to the neck and up along the jawline. Apply pressure, but don't massage too hard. Facial massage differs from deep tissue massage because the skin on the face is more delicate.
    4. The sides of your face: Massage with the same wide, circular motions along the sides of your jaw, past the corners of your mouth, beside your nostrils, and over your cheekbones. First push the skin upward, then outward; never downward, as this can lead to sagging. Continue for one minute.
    5. Your forehead: Massage both sides of your forehead simultaneously using a wide, circular motion. Start near your temples and gradually move your fingers towards the center of your forehead and then back again. Continue for one minute.
    6. Your eye area: Position your fingers along the arch of your eyebrows. Stroke your fingers around the outer corners of your eyes, gently moving them under your eyes and ending at the inner corners. Continue along the sides of your nose and along your eyebrows. Repeat this movement for one minute. Massaging your eye area helps to reduce puffiness.
    7. Finally, massage each area one last time to finish the treatment. Your skin should now feel well-circulated, glowing, and refreshed.

FUN FACTS SKIN:

  • We shed between 30,000 and 40,000 old skin cells per day.
Most people aren't aware that our skin is actually an organ—and not just any organ, but the largest and fastest-growing organ in the human body. According to the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), every square inch of skin contains approximately 650 sweat glands, 20 blood vessels, 1,000 or more nerve endings, and about 19 million skin cells. Let that sink in for a moment. The body is a complex system that is constantly renewing itself: forming new cells and shedding old ones (at a remarkable rate of about 30,000 to 40,000 per day!). At this rate, the skin you can see and feel on your body right now will be gone in about a month. Hard to believe, isn't it?
  • SKIN CELLS CHANGE THEIR SHAPE
That's true too! According to the AAD, skin cells initially appear thick and square. Over time, they migrate to the upper surface of the epidermis and become flatter. Once these cells reach the surface, they begin to peel.
  • Sun damage is the main cause of skin aging.
Studies show that an estimated 90% of skin aging is caused by sun exposure. This is one of the reasons why we strongly urge you to protect your skin from harmful UV rays, regardless of the season! In fact, studies show that people who use sunscreen with an SPF of 15 or higher daily have 24% less skin aging than those who don't.
  • SUN DAMAGE IS CUMULATIVE
Sun damage builds up over time, meaning that we accumulate more and more of it as we age, and the skin damage becomes increasingly severe. When it comes to using sunscreen and other sun protection measures, the earlier you start, the better. But it's never too late!
